Hey guys... it has been a while since I do some type of organic modeling...
I was working with Rhino3d, but i decided that I'll be better off using some type polygon base 3d program... what free programs are out there?
I think I'm gonna end up downloading the latest version of Blender...
I'm planing to import it to maxwell later on

Silo, not free but very cheap for what it's capable of:

I'd go with Silo aswell.. It's dead-easy to pick up, and you can use it in demo mode for 30 days or more, but after I think it has a restriction on number of polygons.

i agree..go and buy silo or 3dcoat..both have a very low price for what they offer

I'm back... I kept working with Rhino with great results ( It's frustrating to work on something when you're not familiar with the tools)
ANyway, what programs do you guy know that will automatically refine/ optimize meshes

when you are on rhino you should check out T-splines
and MOI (because of the new mesher)
if you are looking to repair meshes, rhino is very good in that area, check for meshrepair in the manual; there are many mesh commands for fixing meshes into watertight ones.
free rhino plug ins:

free standalone software for that:

This is what I'm doing....
I would like to create a polygon model with the less amount of polygons, that looks neatly (quads)
