On mac :
When i double click on the tga straight out of studio , the image opens in the mac 'preview' program and the image looks exactly like in the maxwell render window. When I open the same tga in photoshop the image looks totally different in color and intensity . How can I fix this ?

Check your PS settings....

Edit - Assign Color Profile...make sure "Don't Color Manage This Document" is checked.

Edit - Color Settings...RGB: Adobe RGB (1998), Gray: sGray,

Color Management Policies: All Off,

Advanced Controls: Both Unchecked.

See if that helps.

I played round with these adjustments and this definitely helps although it is still not a perfect match.
Thanks for the advice !

Well the problem is definitely in your Photoshop settings. You need to learn what each of the settings are for and how they work. To much for me to outline here. You will have to research that on your own. Good luck.
