Cost prohibitive.
Makes the friendly $229.00 i7 920 so much friendlier.
I know the technology is first rate, ..but someone needs to send Intel an email telling them that the global economy is currently making a giant sucking sound.

Yeah ... Octo's w/X55xx's on board. 16 threads (8 hyperthreaded).
At least I'm pretty sure the Xeon's will be HT'ed...
