3D coat customers will have gotten the e-mail ("memo" ;)), but i wanted to share it with the rest. I don't yet own the program myself; The demo i once tried ran too slow on my PC (C2D E6600, GF 7900GS 512MB), but this sure looks very promising.

Vector Sculpting! Modo has it to a little degree, but nowhere comparable to that awesomeness. It can make use of CUDA for a parallel execution.

Wow....I have never even heard of this technology. Could this threaten Zbrush?

They don't show wires of any of those sculpts. I wonder how clean it is?

I have both Mudbox (old version, but demo of new Autodesk vrersion) and 3D Coat... no comparisons.. New Mudbox is still very clunky..
...Autodesk acquired Mudbox... tweaked a little (took them a year or so to "add" a couple features.. like color painting..) Mudbox is already far from this voxel technology... no idea about Zbrush..

Andrew is a very prolific coder... 8)

Look at the price compared to Zbrush or Mudbox..... no comment..

I have also got a license of 3D-Coat and it's a great piece of software and Andrew is also a talented coder. But i dislike the religious crap he added in the about box.
