i am thinking about the option of some more studies.

this may be a MAS (master of advanced studies) after my master degree that i already have in architecture. or a film school.

the desired direction would be learning cinematography and advanced knowledge in 3d production. especially in the field of digital sets and environments.

i've been at the gnomon school of visual effects for two terms where i took several courses. ( it's more a technical school where students learn how to produce vfx )

so i am just starting to think about things like the vancouver film school in canada or one-year programmes directly at universities like UCLA which has a very good name.

do you guys have some tips on the best schools ?

thanks !

Sorry, I don't know of any school... but I'm sure that if you post this at CGTalk.com someone will chime in.

once you get your degree what are you planning to do with it?

Knowing what you want to do for a living would probably make it easier. (choosing the right school / path)

it's just that i had a job-interview at a very cool office and they'd have given me a job.. but they need startup-credits from international firms, but (guess!) they all save money in this time of crisis.

i'll have to reapply for the job in 4 - 5 months or even later.

this is why i started thinking about some more education...

but as i see, MAS programmes are best for those that really want to work in the specific fields like architecture or similar that is taught at university level.

in my case, since i am trying to go in an other direction than "classical" architecture i guess it's best to learn some more basic cinematography and film-based stuff.

i've searched on cgTalk before... cool sticky:
