Hi All!

Looking at a new workstation for me...

This is what I've been looking at:

ANTEC SONATA PLUS 550
ASUS P6T DELUXE X58 S-1366 2XGBLAN FW ATX
BE QUIET NOICE DAMPING-KIT FOR MIDITOWER BLACK
INTEL CORE I7 965 EXTREME 3.2GHZ 8MB S-1366
2 x OCZ GOLD XTC 6GB PC12800 (3X2GB) 5010197224
PLEXTOR DVD±R/RW DL 18X PX-800A IDE SVART BULK*
WESTERN DIGITAL VELOCIRAPTOR 300GB 3.5# 10K RPM SA...
XFX GEFORCE GTX 280 1GB DDR3 2XDVI PCI-E

Someone has any comments about this setup?
I'm in a open office, so a quiet computer is a must... I'm not shure about the Antec Sonata, and I'm not shure that the Velociraptor is quiet...

Have someone tryed the SSD discs?

Best Regards Patrik

i would build a raid0 setup with 2 samsung hdd's, 320gb platter version with 1-2 platters: 320 or 640gb. i've bought 2x320gb to keep it as quiet as possible - 2 platters produce more noise.

...but if you have a gtx280 with stock cooler i think you don't have to worry about hdd noise

I want to test the SSD Discs, it would be good for the company to have a machine as a tester...

But the rest, something that wont work with each other?
I'm pretty sure that the machine would work pretty well..
