well its taken me forever but i finally built my website. Parts are still under construction, there are a couple of things that I found broken this morning in one of the galleries stuff like that but its up and running and thats what counts. Its been an ongoing battle seeing that I have no dreamweaver experience and very limited flash experience. Let me know what you think.

Nice clean design, I think a few photos are in the wrong section? Nr 6 in People for example (or is it because of the footprints in the snow? :) ). It would be great also if there were thumbs instead of numbers.

Congrats Jeff!

I like the color scheme / design. The images are loading very slow though. I didn't have a stopwatch, but i'd say 15 seconds which is decisively too slow for people not to go elsewhere.

I suspect they're full res. You should reduce them to perfect fit and a JPEG quality of maybe 85. Not only will they load in reasonable time, they'll also look better since Flash's transform doesn't resample (anti-alias). So yeah, definitely change that! :)

The rest is cool, no unnecessary graphics or walls of text.

Thanks Adrian. They arent full res. but they are larger than the flash window, I am going to resize them later this week, they are all under 1mb already, a friend of mine is going to hook me up with some pre-loader code so that they load into cache to transition faster
