Could you spec a windows based Laptop with just as many or better features at $1299 ?

1. 13" display
2. 2Gb ram
3. 160 Gb hard drive
4. 2.0ghz Core2 duo
5. DVD-rw +rw super drive
6. NVIDIA GeForce 9400M or better

I did a quick and the closest dell is $1884, maybe I did it wrong though.

You're correct as always Thomas, no i never ran those numbers. But to get one of those new MacPro's here in Sweden i have to pay over 2000 euro which feels a little bit steep for what is just a laptop.
