I'm wondering if my current PSU will be ok for a Q6600 motherboard (like the Asus P5K Pro).

It's a Tagan 480W with the main specs:

- ATX 12V Version 1.3 and downwards compatible
- Intel Pentium 4 and AMD K7/K8 CPU compatible
- ATX 24 & 8-pin / 20 & 4-pin connectors for most motherboards

Depends largely on your graphics card, it's definitely enough for a Q6600.

It's a 6600GT so it should be enough power. Just wondering if the connections on this PSU will be ok for that motherboard. I guess it should be?

That PSU is a good one ...

I'm gonna say it's fine (connection and load-wise) for that proc and VC.

On that PSU .. it has that special grounding wire, ..don't forget to hook that up ... it's a nice feature for creating a grounding loop. But I'm sure your already aware .... :)
