I now have two machines at my disposal a nice quad core and an even nicer dual quad core.

My question is simple, do I need a copy of XP 64 for each pc to run a network, or will it be fine with the one copy for both machines?

Two copies i'm pretty sure (if you want to play fair).

But would it run fine with just the one copy?

Or would there be any kind of conflict?

The way I understand it you will need a copy for each machine - so you need two! :) using one copy on both computers could cause a license conflict

I will reluctantly buy two then. :(

It seems such a rip off to have to buy it twice, but if that is what you have to do, I will. :x

2 computers, 2 operating systems. Although, you are buying the wrong OS.

Of course.

But go ahead and use Windows 95... oh (ahem)... I mean Windows XP if you want.

Just for the record d7, ... you have to have a copy per machine. I think you'd only have a month before either machine would quit operating without a proper key installed and registered.

So don't feel ripped, .. it's what you have to do.
