Maxwellians,

I'm looking for both a good tonemapping app and a good noise remover. Money's no issue. Not that I'm rich, but I'm primarely concerned with the quality of my images. Besides, cat food doesn't taste that bad.

I'd prefer standalone apps, but PS plugins'll do too. Noiseware and Photomatix look promising, I feel - but what do I know?

Do share your thoughts.

A noise remover and a tonemapper rolled into one (PureImage, I mean)? Nice.

This is a nice touch:

"Color Matching
Picasso once said: "Good artists copy, great artists steal."

Do you like the tone and colors of some other image and want to use it in your pictures? No problem! Just load the reference image in Color Match and the advanced matching and optimizing algorithm will match the color and tone of your image to it. No need to fiddle with complex color adjusting controls.

The color match can be also used to match a series of images taken with different cameras."
