Which Internet browser is best?
i currently us firefox and really like it, but the drawback is its memory usage.
i usually have pandora radio (
www.pandora.com) and have this forum open and it is using right now 172,684k and my autocad is using only 150,164k. there has to be a better way. any suggestions are welcome.

I'd buy or steal more ram...

Hehe, good solution Hervé
Opera is number one! it uses little ram and it's much faster and lots more stable than FireFox is.

Have you tried the firefox 3.0 beta to see if it works better for you memory and speed-wise ?

Works fine ... but some of your extensions may not work. (You may want to try and disable the compatibility checking)
In About:config
1. Right-click -> New -> Boolean
2. for name type -> extensions.checkCompatibility
3. for value select --> false

In that case you may also want to try Safari 3.1 for windows. It is the fastest browser in town for the moment.

I like Firefox. I have 4GB, so its memory usage really doesn't bother me. Firefox 3 will likely beat both Opera and IE7/8 in terms of memory consumption.
As someone who likes to make websites, i can only advice not to use Internet Explorer, you're doing everyone a great favor. There's not excuse

This got me thinking that my oldy MSX only had 64k (that was all ram, no hard drives)
