what image hosting service is the best? (fastest/most reliable/best user interface/features ...)
I see that a lot of users on this forum uses imageshack, but for me these images load awful slow, and sometimes not at all. And I'm no big pop-up fan either...

Another vote for
Metoric. I used Sipifi for a while, but it looks like evil entities took over and it's junk now.

It does have one downside, it doesn't allow for animated gifs. It basically stores the first frame and takes that.

anyone else having problems with forum images hosted by
imageshack?
It often takes a minute or more to load images from this host, even if I use a fast internet connection.
EXAMPLE: see the images posted by Bubbaloo at Fri Apr 11, 2008 1:40 am in this topic:

Agreed Kurt, it takes forever for Imageshack hosted images to load if they even load at all. People need to stop using Imageshack if they want us to see their images, including you Bubba.
Metroic are much faster and better!

Yeah, Imageshack got very slow. It used to be fast half a year ago, but it's probably among the web's most popular image hosting services by now. Stick to Metoric
And boycott the oly... Bubbaloo!

Another one for metoric and against imageshack.
Though I fear, the more metoric is being used, the more it will slow down and become another imageshack...
