Light Exposure settings for the confused...

I am included in the confused bracket generally.
Found this. It may help some of you, it may not.
It gives examples of a lot of lighting situations and how to set up the camera via a chart.

It has certainly helped me out. I may not fully understand this photography lark, but the chart is getting good results for me.
