Maxwell ready content

what are the chances to have a library of objects ready to render in maxwell similar to our MXM library in this forum? I believe there are a lot of people willing to share their models, like furnitures, car, trees. and other objects. Is that possible to do or there some problems to prevent us to share such library?

yes this is very cool idea .. especially if people are generous to donate....
I think this would be huge for maxwell....
just offer a few cool prizes
and away we go

Sharing materials is one thing, but sharing your models that you spent a LOT of time on is something different. Plus, how will quality be regulated? I don't think many people will donate, and if they do, it will not be their top quality models. I think it's a nice idea, but impractical.

I think, users will control the quality by just choosing what they think are good for their projects. Some objects maybe good enough for far distance view other need to be more detailed. It's just like the materials library. Some materials are very good, some are ok and other I have no use or they are simple not good. I pretty sure not no matter how you treasure your models some time they get old or you just don't find any use for them that I think you don't mind to share them anymore. Since there are thousand of user I just can Imagen if everybody just share one single useless all nice model. I don't see the harm on it.
I just wish we can have a library like that some time.
