ISP's name server issue?
Seems it down for quite a few people in central europe, i'll use Google Australia for the time being, that works just fine
p.s. this makes you realize how often you use their service, it's integrated as the default firefox search engine.

I guess so (?). Obviously you're getting other places though - so, weird. What do you get if you: ipconfig /displaydns ...then if you: ipconfig /flushdns , then try google again?

It's back to normal today, gmail and google.com are available again. Looks like my ISP had this problem in many areas, and of course hesitated to admit it
