This plugin looks great for seamless texture creation based upon photographs. I been testing it and it can do alot! now i only wish i could afford to buy it.

That looks real nice. To bad there is no MacOS version, as often is the case when it comes to nice little applications/plugins... :(

AWOL: It's very nice, i been playing all morning with the demo :) to bad about the non-existing Mac version, that part sucks.

Koufax: It's similar to ImageSynth, but it has fewer controls and often seem to provide better looking results from those types of images i tested to tile with it.

Yup, I bought 3D World the other day and you do indeed get a full version of Imagesynth on the DVD. Probably means a new version is about to be released, but it is still well worth the purchase. Shame the magazine isn't as good...(!)
