My first own HDRI image :D

Yesterday i picked up a decorative garden chrome-ball for abuse in geek-experiments.
I did a couple shots and merged them to an HDRI in Photoshop.
Here my first Maxwell Render with it:

The only thing that confuses me is the low color count. XnView counts only 30k colors in the final HDR image, while the LDR source images (admittedly larger res) have up to 200k. It's hard to say if it's a good HDR image, but for instance the one i packaged with the Benchwell scene has like 300k colors and i'd love to get that range. No idea if my low-end camera is the limiting factor here, i've shot 7 images at different exposure lengths to get the result.
