What would it be the application here? I don't get it. when I zoom to the vectorize image the only crisp and defined lines are in the border of the image all the rest is only bands of color.

Well we compared it to Livetrace the other day and it wasn't quite as detailed on simple black and white drawings but with photos it worked a million times better.
