Hey, can you recommend some good multimedia software. I'm considering to buy Macromedia Director, but the price is quite a lot. So if you know any better choise, let me know - thanks.

Having been a director user myself, I would suggest that Flash is much simpler to learn and seems to be more actively updated.

Flash does not have shockwave 3d capability, but the advantage is it's ability to transfer so easily to the internet. If you are trying to control full screen content for a Kiosk, Director would be your best choice.

Let me know what you want to do with it. I have about 8 years experience with both packages.

Than you'd be better off with Adobe AfterEffects or Autodesk Combustion or some similar program.

If you are putting together a reel then Combustion or Aftereffects are def the way to go. I have combustion, its great once you get an understanding of it. Its also nice being completely undistructive
