You are a brave man Brian.
This is the earliest stuff I have a record of (that I'm willing to show

):
1998:
2000 (AutoCAD 14 and Lightscape):
2001 (Rhino and Lightflow):

No, no, no! Those are too good!
I want to see the really bad renderings from when you were learning and toying around.
See mine above.
C'mon, be brave!

Hi everyone,
I have moved this thread to Off Topic. The Maxwell Render Gallery is for finished Maxwell work only (
http://www.maxwellrender.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4284 ) - sorry! We need to keep things clean and organized.
Thanks!
Nicole

Allright, nicole.
Off Tpic is right place for this.
If we wanna post in gallery section, Brian have to chage the name of this thread to 'Post your first Maxwell'
Good! Very good!

Dunno exactly when I created this image, must be about 2001 or 2002 I think.. it's in the 3dtotal cartoon gallery, but unfortunately it doesn't have any dates with it.. I was experimenting with hdri at the time and with an early version of Brazil.

Also 2002..
I have some really early stuff from before 1998.. unfortunately I can't find it anymore.. it's pretty funny.. Corel Dream 3D.. yikes.

there some pretty sh*tty stuff in here (starting with mine!!

)
But some others look too good to be their "first"

My images are indeed better than my first stuff, I wish I still had it.. one was a crappy interior with tiny overblown textures and a crappy fake fire in the fireplace.. the other was 3 monster trucks in an arena.. unfortunately something went wrong with the revolve for the tires so they had a pretty big gap somewhere in the middle

I have no idea what I did in between those first images and the later ones.. I think I gave up on 3D for a while.

The first 3d work I remember doing was in 1997 when I worked at an A&E firm. It was a warehouse. The project manager saw it and I thought he said, "It looks really great." He had actually said, "It looks really gray."
