Hi, all.
Nowadays, I'm looking for the new monitor.
My current monitor is about 4 years old and 17" LCD which has 1280x1024 resolution.
So I'm looking for more bigger new monitor.
I want to know what kind of moniter are you using?
You recommend anything?

I have a Samsung SyncMaster 205BW. It is a dvi connection and is very clear. It's a 22" widescreen with 1680 x 1050. I think if I could do it again, I would get a larger screen to match the height of my second monitor, a 19" 4:3.

I use a Cintiq 21 for main monitor, which I love, but I also use LaCie 321 monitors and they are very good.

Same here, plus a flat screen Dell - the colours on each are completely different. I'd be surprised if a calibrator can make them the same. Worth a try though i suppose.

I cannot do with cheap LCD due to poor gamut and gamma. Here's my good old cheap CRT. Using 1600 x 1200 on it...

Heh yea it's pretty damn crappy, and if this monitor breaks down which it's close to doing as the display fluctuates in and out and switches to a black screen way to often. :/ and colors aren't exactly natural. When this one is ready to be buried i'll be without a monitor for a long long time to come. Not looking forward to that day..

Sandy, ...your not stupid, ..get what you want. Do your homework. Its not as if these types of threads ever really help, ...they just turn into one big 'show off and tell' session.
I remember my first monitor was a TMK 9" color television set, ... man, ... I loved it, ...til it was stolen.
