Hi guys I have a couple of ok ish comps I use at home or work for Maxwell. I haven't done a proper benchmark yet but I just discovered that what I assume to be a dual core Xeon at work that has the hypr threading option.. because in my task manager/ performace section i can see 4 graphs for my cpu usage history...

So is it better to have hyper threading on or off ?

Does any one know this or should i run a benchwell on it...

:) thanks

If your CPU has it, it should be faster. I'd say use it. Recent Xeons don't have it anymore and i have no idea if it's ever to return.

hmm i am confused because I look at the chip information on newegg.com and it says they dont have hyper threading .. but i look at my task manager performance and it show 4 graphs showing cpu usage ???

i wonder what this means?
