I saw that. Has anybody tried it yet?
On a side note, why can't I get sharp shadows with an HDRI in Maxwell?

regarding sharpness.
good question. The theory of sharp shadow is that the light is parallel, so with HDRI you would need to make the lightsource very small and only one primary light and the rest would be more uniform to fill the shadows. If the built in HDRI Illumination doesn't work, mapping it to a primitive sphere and making that sphere REALLY big should do the trick.
post something if you mess with this? It would be a cool experiment.
