One of my favourite stories [had to read it in school in the original OE]
I wonder how much butchery the story's had..........interesting though.

It's funny, I never heard about Beowulf until I saw one episode of Star Trek NG

Have you Seamus Heaney's translation - the best by far. Worth having on a library shelf.
Thank God Mel Gibson is nowhere to be seen on the credits
