I didn't realize even the moon thing was under question. It seems some people are taking skepticism to new heights.

Which camp do you think makes a better case ?

Moon visits have been in such doubt for a quite long time. Other than hardly ever proovable doubting theories there is this one interesting videoclip that also sparks some imagination in my own head.

Shouldn’t this be a pretty easy thing to debunk, can't they simply point a telescope at the moon and see all of the equipment that they left up there? I mean if we can see the numbers on a license place from orbit we should be able to see at least one of the landing sites that should have all kinds of debris left from the experiments they performed.

We do have the lunar retroflectors that were left, for bouncing off light beams emitted from the earth and performing moon-earth distance calculations.

However, the skeptics claim that a robotic mission could have installed those and no amount of hardware on site would convince them (not even the moon buggies left there).

The telescopes (including hubble) cannot be used because it requires extreme resolution to decipher something so small as a single flag given the distance. Here is what they say:

For me the best proof that we did go to the moon is the astronauts. These men would have to be the biggest liars in history and I would think at least one of them would have talked. Not to mention the hundreds of people who would have had to have been involved in faking the landings, surely one of them would have come forward.

I guess, as always, the truth is not available for us ...the common people.
...and that make us more skeptic.

Everyone knows that we were able to land on the moon thanks to the alien technology we acquired from the Roswell, NM UFO crash.

Does it really matter? We got our teflon frying pans didn't we?? No reason to complain. Lets just say the Americans got the better part of the German engineers and the Russians got the left overs :p

Which is strange because we did let the Russians enter first. Guess we just had a better "do this or you'll go to Nuremburg" deal than they did.
