I didn't see where it said that it was rendered with Maxwell, but that was sick either way.

I don't know if the site is in Korean or Japanese, or ?, but I did see maxwell mentioned…

ok, so I did a translation using bablefish (it appears to be Korean) but it didn't really help…there's something about a "green onion"??!? :?

I think the still image was rendered with maxwell, below the video there's a couple of links, this one has a couple more cool renders in it (also maxwell):
