Where do arch vis people get the figures shown in property visualisations? Are they mainly 3d models or 2D images that can be overlayed in Photoshop?

Could anyone give me some links to free human figures (preferably just 2d) as i'm slightly poor at the moment.

Sorry, no free humans available, at least as far as I know... Just some samples of low poly models and low-res images.
I guess all you can do is google a bit.

So in the arch vis renders they are mostly 3d? Most look like 2d images/humans overlayed to me.

Now i ain't no pro at archviz :D more the opposite hehe but my guess it all depends on the look they want. Sometimes 2d figures will do fine, and somtimes 3d figures are better. It may be a matter of taste and ofcourse budget.

RPC's are the most common 3D people however Maxwell doesn’t support them so you have to use something else. I use AXYZ design's people for 3D people in Maxwell, there are others out there for sure but that's what I use.

For postwork, you can collaps the RPC's in Photoshop with the free plugin.

We use 3d people because they cast shadows. Less post work which is good because I suck at ps...
