just a question about MoI, .. i've tried quickly it too and it seems very nice. However, since I use Rhino, I can't find any reason to use it. Does it do any things better/easier than rhino that makes it prefarable in any situation, you reckon?

What is MoI?

It's alot quicker and easier to work with compared to Rhino, for newbies aswell as pro's it's easier to whip up a quick 3d sketch of a product within minutes. Something which requires more time in Rhino.

On a personal note i work with both programs simultaneously, bumping the model back and forth between those two apps is great! as if one thing can't be done within Rhino it can usually be done in Moi and the other way around. :)

If you wanna show a client a quick mockup of something you can easily do that in Moi even while they're watching without them getting bored, then if they like what they see you can refine that model in Rhino.

I have no NURBS experience and I never thought I would use them but with MoI everything seems easy and it is so fast....!
Also the UI is something fresh, very easy to understand and use.
The support is just great! (Congratulations to mr. Michael Gibson)
The forum is very useful.

Have to agree with you, Michael is a great guy and a talented coder. He'll be at Siggraph this year showing off Moi3D so if you're gonna be there have a look at what he got to show. :)

Hmm. Cool. Sound interesting. I'll have to try it a little bit more then I guess.. even though nothing beats the pen for quick shapefinding and visualization I guess..

I call it Rhino Lite ... :P

Certainly not as feature rich as Rhino, ...but a refreshing UI and beautiful shading/wires. ;)
