thanks guys for your info.
i knew about doschdesign (too low res unfortunatly)
and the vismaster collection. i only thought the skies were not fully hemisperical, as their images on the web show only part of the skies - but i downloaded some samples and the catalogue now and they look like full hemispherical skies. so i think i am going for this one.
the 3dweave library is way too low res. they say on the site it is even better for illumination to have lowres, which is true, but for the reflections you need the high res map.
so thanks again and
cheers

i know sachform has some great hdr images in their collection. but they have only a few with almost pure sky on it and unfortunatly that is what i need.
thanks anyway !
and thank you, too, ron.
but their hdri were not the quality i was looking for. (their hdri collection is actually quite small besides their huge selection of normal sky images

- some nice free stuff as well)
(or i have not found the right place where to look)
cheers
