tracking how many people visit my website...

I would like to know if there is a an easy/free way to track how many people visit my mom's website.
Also, if Maximus ever do his tut on how to host your own site, I would like to track mine too

After some unsuccessful tries with some web tracking pages, I finally found this one for my site
http://www.histats.com
Works fine, is free, easy to manage, and don't have any banners or links

They something about having a counter on the site... is that nesesary? I don't want a counter

If you look closely at the description, you'll see that they offer hidden counters.

Hey guys it's working!!! I already got a few counts and they all are ref from
www.maxwellrender.com so I know they are not real customers

yeah, the only thing missing is a picture of everybody that clicks on my site and their creditcard info

Thx... but, just a little blurring would have been just enough... no need to throw the hole scrshot away...

...hmmmm that's freaky some guy visited my page at 12:40am from Ohio! He found the site by searching on google (meaning he didn't come from Maxwell)
The thing is, that my mom operates in In the northeast DE,NJ,PA no Ohio
