Hey all - I can't seem to find a way to subscribe to threads, and even when I tick "notify me when reply is posted" on my own posts I don't get any notifications. I've turned on the relevant option in my profile. Is there some trick to subscribing to a thread? Can we subscribe to a whole topic i.e Gallery, WIP, etc?
Thanks in advance!

You have to post in a thread. There aren't any subscription systems in place here other than that.

Thanks Leo - I actually did check the junk folder, but still no joy
Thanks Tim, but I'm not getting any emails even when I do post. I had to come back to look for these responses!
Beats me, just thought maybe there was something obvious that I missed.

It's also possible this function is disabled in phpbb's settings so even if you in your user settings can activate it it may still be disabled there. And in that case there's not alot you can do about it except to beg NL to enable it again.

I have found the issue - and it actually is my spam filter. I had checked it several times and it seemed clear, but apparently not.
After a much more careful examination of the evidence I was forced to conclude that I am a knob.
Sorry - and thanks for the aid!

you can always click on "Watch this topic for replies" at the end of each page. works the same.

I stopped getting emails from the forum for no reason about 8 months ago and it's not my spam filter. I have no idea why - I never figured it out

Weird. I was reasonably sure I wasn't getting any either, but I reset the option in my profile and I get them now - but they do get dumped in the spam mailbox so I have to dig through there to find them. Annoying.
Is there now way to have the forum notifications come from "Next Limit" or something rather than "unknown sender" ?
