Hey guys,

Just wanted to bring this to your attention, if you haven't already seen it.

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/64bi ... trial.mspx

I needed to update and was going to buy, until I saw this. It allows you to run a fully fledged copy for 120 days, to see if your system works with XP 64bit. Sounds like a plan :)

Cheers,
Dr Merman

Yo! Dr.,
I hope it works for you.
I'm far from a geekster, but was told I'd need a second HD and a dual boot set up to run XP 32 bit and XP 64 bit.
I got that set up, and really like the 64 bit.
Access to RAM and speed are two very real pluses.
And the fact the XP Pro 64 bit OS comes in soooo clean. No commercial crap attached to it is also a plus.
XP 64 is not expensive, so it might be a good thing to look at.
With Maxwell V1.2 being 64 bit enabled, it should be a worthwhile investment.

I hadn't heard that 1.2 is going to be 64 bit? Where did you find this?

Leonardo posted yesterday that it was old news.
And I believe him because he seems like a nice guy and I'm prone to wishful thinking.

Ok :) - I can work with that - I'll believe you because you seem like a nice guy - then if Leonardo is wrong we can gang up on him! :)
