I'm not a game mania, but it's somewhat interesting.

http://gigglehd.com/bbs/view.php?id=hdnews&no=1357

1st & 3rd & 5th is view of dx9

2nd & 4th & 6th is view of dx10

If you click each image, you can see the bigger one.

Interesting.. but those images look more like they're faked/composed to give a approx likeness to what a simulator like FSX would look like with DX10, however FSX is not yet supporting DX10 as far as i know, only DX9 is supported by it.

You should take a look at Crysis, it shows you some of the power of DX10 and is pretty damn impressive  just Google it and you'll find tons of good stuff to watch.

Leo, I don't know why you can't see these, maybe you need window media player 9 or later.

It's a just nice demo movie for cryengine.

There was a discussion on another forum about this recently. Cryengine2 is the newest version that is to be released. There are also some threads on cgtalk with people using it for production right now.

It's not going to be released to the public until the game is put out and I highly doubt it will be cheap.

You're welcome Koufax :)

Hyperballad: Yeap but the engine will cost approx $150,000 US (the price i heard) to license for developers. Gamers won't get it, maybe we'll get some sorta leveleditor at most but never the full engine, unless we cough up the cash.
