i have a question...

i know there are users of boujou around.

i downloaded the demo version of moujou and it works properly.

but how is it best to rotate/scale the solution in maya to fit the modeled environment?
the moujou-generated locators are just a cloud of points, so there is no accurate way to align this...

any idea ?

thanks ...

If I remember correctly you need to setup the axis in boujou so when it goes back into Maya the ground plane is the same as in Maya. The scale should be correct anyway. Also only export the points you really need, ie the edges of buildings etc.

Hope this helps.

It is a while since I have used it.

thanks, Neil, for that tip. the solution looked just messed, hanging somewhere in space, unaligned. i'll try to find sth useful.

anyway. i'm waiting for two dvds covering matchmoving and tracking with boujou. maybe it's shown how maya is involved.
