Google Earth: A pattern of nature

Just messed around with GoogleEarth a little and decided to zoom into the big African deserts, pretty amazing imho. Would even make an interesting bumpmap.

GoogleEarth ... today I messed around the first time. Wonderful. :)

... and at the zoological garden of my hometown - I can see the elephants. :shock:

our planet is amazing... regardless from where you look at it. We need sometimes to observe it from a different perspective to realize this.
The best images i've seen include natural landscapes and formations... man made stuff always looks like scars on an otherwise fantastic place....
