why we not create an open source world bank to avoid this jokes?
i mean with project ranking, developer ranking, investor rights, transparent investment managment, transparent and by investors definable roadmaps, decisional investor forums, $%^*#^##*%*%$%...i think it's time.

Aghh.. the more i read about Vista and how it works under the hood the more and more it pisses me off!

..excuse my poor french but what the hell been Micro$oft been thinking coding a operatingsystem like that ?! it'll be unusuable for a majority of us who are both content creators (3d artists) and gamers unless you're rich so you can buy everything you need.
Plain and simple idiocity is the only thing that Micro$oft has proven to us consumers now, incompetence and lack of knowledge of their customers needs and what we actually want from a operatingsystem. All they seem to care about is what Hollywood and the music industry wants.
This is what i been reading, especially interesting are the replies below. And well they're quite sad too, consindering XP was the only OK OS released. Now it's time to start chasing other alternatives.

Yeah XP was quite a nice thing and boy did we struggle before. The problem i still see with BSD and Linux is the whole open vs proprietary driver issue. Meaning the only successful method to get widespread use will, at the same time, progressively take away what was the reason to switch in the first place.
I'm seeing a lot of converters though since multimedia junkies and the millions of warez users will seek a solid platform to continue their hobby.

When you find out please let me know. I don't see a single tool that I use day to day behave in a different manner.

I mean, beyond the obvious ms ethical issues (not surprising and ms surely ain't the only ones doing this) you've gotta wonder about wikipedia and its now widespread nickname 'slanderpedia'...
