Is there any way to turn them all off? Can't find a setting in Profile.

Joss, for heavens sake... that thing is driving me mad

It's a bore having to keep hitting the Esc. key...

If you use firefox to view this forum you can use "Adblock" to block the avatar. Once installed just right click the image and select "Adblock image".

Plus you can block a lot of VERY irritating Flash based ads on other sites.
