Easy and light application, I just tried to make something... Although I do only architectural modeling, I think MOI will be very useful for things like furniture, decorative objects, door panels, sculpture etc...

Has the beta version a time restriction, so that it will stop working after some weeks?

Yeap the beta is only valid for a short period of time until the next beta is released. Or something like that..

Very cool, I really enjoy MoI, the all quad obj export is unique and seems to work pretty well.

edit:

Looks much cleaner than Rhino obj export don't you think? And the new beta has great obj export options to specify how to control the mesh output.

I would really like this tool...however for some reson the export does not work for me...this is what I get when import an obj (into Maxwell Studio saved from MoI). Do you have any idea what the problem might be? (the other file types are messed up too in other ways...)

rendek, I think Studio needs triangles. Did you export as quads? I have no idea what I'm talking about BTW.

France,

though you don't know what you are talking about you can still solve problems!! :D it worked! I do need to export triangles...now my only other question is how do I "smoothen" curved surfaces?

If you're working in Studio, select the object and look at the object param panel, set the smoothing type to Smooth, set smoothing angle to something like 60 and hit the recalc normals button.
