Sad it's an empty unit. Long time ago i had one Imac and this stuff was really heavy...enough to break your feet if you want to kick it away.

You know what's kinda weird about this bit - aside from the fact that PC vs. Mac is kind of a dead issue if you use them both every day, like a lot of us - is that almost of the stuff he was talking about happening is very PC, and not very Mac; at least, in my experience. I've got 10 Macs and 30 PC's, and I have to give the "random quitting out", annoying update notification, "naming a critical file cripples the system", etc. edge to PC's over macs by 10:1. I use both systems equally, it's just that if I was going to rip on Macs, I'd have chosen a completely different set of things...

other example...

what can the mac os do when an application like excel or such was written by microsoft ... ?

* * *

osX is very solid and easy to use. it's just different and a pc user can NOT just sit on a mac and think the pc way. (a plus: NO virus crap.)

i know both systems too and i must say apple did a damn good job making it all VERY easy and comfortable. lack: a little speed and poor software support from almost every side. but no wonder with 5% computers on the market !

this idiot on the video shows that he's totally ignorant and can't just stand the truth that he has to change a little his mind to work a different way.
and it's a damn bad «copy» of the original as seen many times here:
http://www.apple.com/getamac/

«apple's not a computer - apple's a lifestyle» !

The guy in the video was doing it a little tongue in cheek, at least I thought so, as a response to some Apple advertising (that I haven't seen).

I run PC's, but only because I have to, the day SolidWorks is ported to Mac I'll turn the PC's into a sculpture that sits out in the rain.

But it was a funny video.

I thought it was funny too, even though he's wrong for most of it. As a dual platform user, I've had to get a thick skin on this kind of mac bashing for as long as I can remember. But, without the mac OS, Windows wouldn't be where it is today (gui wise anyway) :wink:

Yeah, similiar situation here, agree with this... :)
