after over 1.5 years, i wrote again an email to the support of
http://www.3dconnexion.com/
if still no drivers are available. then the person said to me that the drivers were being developed but today i got the answer that because of not enough feedback, the development was stopped.
how many mac users are here that have not heard yet of these totally cool and professional tools ? who would also want to use them on osX?
the workflow speeds up so much with these babies...

PLEASE BOMBARD THEM WITH MAILS WITH THE WISH FOR DRIVER SUPPORT FOR MAC OS X!
awake their product management, these guys seem being asleep !

i remember them saying and laughing cause they didnt have a good c4d support cause as he said " thier clients wouldnt fork out for this gear to use on something like c4d and not the pro stuff. he said they wouldnt spend more money on hardware to use on cheap software and i said well c4d is good and cause its cheaper we have enough money left over to spend on gadgets like this. he didnt agree.
i will write the guy an email ready for monday and see what he says

I have a space pilot that I use with solidworks - I don't think I can actually work without anymore - I also have the portable one for my laptops. It's smooth and fast and saves lot's of finger fatique.
There is a wishlisht item to get spacepilot support in modo over in their forum - which I support because once you get used to using it in one app it's painfull to work in an app without it.

Yeah, I'm always grabbing its cold limp body when I'm in Studio.
That portable version is cute, but I wish it were wireless.

Yes, my mouse is bluetooth on my laptop which is great, no dongles or anything, works right away as soon as the laptop fires up.
