Saw these a while ago. Basically you have four independent dual socket, dual core Opteron motherboards (running independently) crammed into a single box. each has it's own power supply and HD. The aren't even networked together in the box - you have to connect each one to a separate switch/hub. So it's not really a "cluster" system. It's four systems stuffed into a pretty (and over priced) enclosure. :?

You could build your own systems with the exact same configurations for a heck of a lot cheaper...

Looks cool, but I cant seem to get pricing. I sent a request for a login, but it has been hours and I got nothing. Why do they want you to have a login just to see prices. Am I missing something. When companies do things like that it makes me think they are shady. Why not make things easy for potential customers instead of difficult like this. :? Forgive me if I overlooked something obvious.

Froogle search:

(That's just the case with the four MB's and PS).

I was more interested in the core 2 duo machine. I did a search on froogle, and got nothing. Also why is the "render box" called a typhoon on froogle, and not on their website. Thanks by the way michael.

Tyan actually produces this box:

The company that Neil posted are just selling the systems pre-build with all the processors, ram, etc.
