Ok, hello. I think we have a lot of guitarist in here and since we have not discussed guitar stuff, here is my little comment about the PRS SE Custom i got 4 months ago.

I came from the fender world...i love fender as much as any one here loves maxwell. I have some starts and love the sound of all of them.

But when i was in my honeymoon i couldn't stop my self from going to guitar center and play with the toys.

I saw the SE Custom and could not believe it was so cheap, 550$, so i said lets give it a try and i test it and test it until my wife told my to leave that shit alone, and i said to here, honey this thing is no shit, this guitar is amazing.

So i came back early the next day and bought the guitar. It is the cherry sunburst with tremolo.

The only thing i can say to you all is buy this guitar as soon as possible, i promise you wont be disappointed.

It has a 100% perfect finish, no difference what so ever with a CUstom 22 2800$ PRS. Sound is beautiful, warm and musical.

But is i love fender so much i had to have a fender sound in this PRS, so i bought 2 pushpull pots and this gave me a true single coil sound out of the humbuckers. Love the sound!!!!

Now i have not played my fenders since, this PRS has become my #1 guitar and i'm planing on buying more SE Models, they are true PRS in every aspect, you will love this guitar.

Yes I used to have an SE too........very nice, but I tired of the 'one tone' and traded it for an early 80's Greco Les Paul which is still my main plank of choice.

No doubt about it PRS are great guitars, but I still have to stick with my 70's style Tele. I just love fender necks and can't stray far from them.

What kind of rig are you playing out of?

I use a peavey penta head with a classic 1960 marshall cab

i use with fenders a fender pro junior, which i use for recording too, great sounding little tube amp.

Have a princeton and a twing, but i leave them alone, too vintage.

But my main amp is a Line 6 Flextone III. This is a great amp, great vintage tones for everything and the are amazingly realictic.

Thats my current basic rig, PSR-----FlextoneIII=== great tone!!!

If you get around to it, try and go somewhere that you can test out the Penta. It's by far the best head for the money if you like that warm vintage tube sound. Line 6 is tooooo digital sounding for me.

Yes, line 6 has that reputation, but believe me. I have an original twin and the emulation from the flextone is virtualy identical, side by side they sound almost the same.

Just like Maxwell and fryrender, but theres nothing like the original!!!
