No that's not the number of my post in this forum :) but the number of download of the HT_Stainless_Steel_Brushed_2. I'm pretty surprise, seems that most of you need this kind of material. But i'm aslo upset because I haven't seen even one rendering using it. So, it' time to share your fabulous work. I'm very curious to know how you used it and what you have done with it.

I download many of the materials just to see how they are made, but without using them. Maybe that's what's happening. :)

I downloaded it because it's a great material, but I haven't had the chance to render stainless yet. If I do, I'll be sure to post it.

There do seem to be a lot of people downloading materials, far more than visit the forum. I wonder if it's just people stealing the maps for other applications.

This morning i have checked the number of download for the HT Stainless Steel Brushed 2 and i was very surprise that it gets more than 10000. Who downloads?...can not be only some maxwell user. And i don't think the map is very interesting to be used for other rendering program. This material looks good because of maxwell engine not because of the map.

Hi,

I've downloaded it but because I'm forced to create projectors etc. in studio I've found it difficult to replicate the great look in the preview shots. It's an issue of scaling the maps so the grain looks correct. Next time I render stainless I'll try to post a sample to show you what I mean.

It's certainly not a material issue, it's more 'operator error' or 'PEBCAK' (problem exists between chair and keyboard)

In any case, Thanks for the materials!

7. Find the missing mxms by finding their textures in their folder, when looking for a nice 'brushed steel' texture map to use in your newly created mxm.
8. Reading a thread on these boards, which reminds you that you still haven't used that great mxm.

;)
