Basic presumption in the flick is "it's all our fault".
Everything, from world hunger, to HIV to illiteracy, to global warming, to terrorism, to puppies dying - all of it is the fault of the rich West.

But of course it is not!
But a fact is, if those people want our help we can help.
One thing we should keep in mind is that some people don't want our help and we should respect that.

don't quite think the message is about that... and yes we [the west] are at fault. For centuries we plundered the riches of some of the poorest countries and still do, we benefit from their misfortune and complain about the their inability to ‘catch up’.
I guess you all like to buy cheap stuff and pay little attention to the vast amount of waste we all produce... all of this has a cost and it's the least developed countries who pick up the bill. So don't give me crap about – “oh why am i always the victim and get all the blame for the wrongs of the world” - well don't be a smart ass and just ask yourself where the food you eat comes from and what price are the developing countries paying for you to get such abundance etc...
"oh but i give to charity and my country gives them so much money in help" – also don't forget that for every $ you give in help they pay us back four times as much as interest, many times because of the weapons we sold their corrupt governments. If your analyses of this message is that simple then you’re showing your contempt for the rest of the world… remember when the shit hits the fan we all be left with a bad smell.
And yes the moment you stop using terms like them and us the quicker you'll be able to deal with your own responsabilities....my 2cents
