I need a good image viewer. I JUST want to see all the photo's ina directory, sort them, etc. I DO NOT NEED any kind of photo manipulation... any suggestions? I've tried ACDSEE (sp?)... it was good, but costs alot...
TIA

I gotta agree with Miles about IrfanView, it's great and free

which is why i use it.
If you're gonna use AcdSee then use the older versions, the newer one's are so bloated and slow. Well in plain english they suck

XNview is even more complete than Irfanview and has several skins.

I've tried a couple of the ones mentioned... I guess I'll stick to Picassa2 for now... it's free from Google...
I guess the biggest thing is that Picassa will show all files in a directory, noit just the folder view...
Thanks to all...

I tried irfran and didn't like it.
XnView is the best. Gets my vote too. Have been using it for years now and highly recommend it.

Just found this one, I can't live without ACDSee but this one supports a few 3D formats too, and it's as simple as can be.

Another vote for XnView. Starts up very fast, indexes very fast, and small footprint. It has plugins for tons of file formats including 3D.

www.mootools.com ... shows 3D files too and you can open your standard 3D files in a browser window (with textures and you can turn the model).
