Fry Render (part out of topic... part not)

They seem very similar to Maxwell Render.
I wonder if someone has tried and could tell his/ her experience here!
The images are not as great as Maxwell´s, but they claim something diferent from Maxwell. They say that you could navigate the model in real time after the calculations were performed. If this is true it would be possible to create animations, just rendering one time the full model!ç
Too good to be true.... anyway suspiciously there are no samples of this real time model in the download area.
Just wondering.

Would it be so complicated? basicaly hdr texture baking from a render applied on a low poly in a HDR realtime engine? Or just hdr VR panoramas?

If you simply do that, imagine the memory requirements for all those hdr textures. The texture size would need to be huge so you can get fairly close to a wall, or as you walk across a floor. Plus there is the matter of the reflections and caustics, can't bake those.

You've never had baked reflections???

They're quite good.

My mother has an excellent recipe.

Sure! Would be a dream to make a true animation with only baked textures.. :P
