funny guys ;-)

Export it to a VR environment and then you can run like a madman realtime through your thing, I think they just mean baking textures bla bla

but you are also right, interface is 100% realtime

on the fryrender forum:

===============================================

We are getting a little tired of that Feversoft - NextLimit thing.

No, we have no relationship to them. We have never met them, and of course none of us is an ex-NL employee.
Now that you mention, we would like to ask people to never link us to them in any way from now on.
Madrid is a big city, and the fact that we are both located in Madrid / Spain is merely a coincidence.
We were born here. None of us can fix that I guess.

I run Feversoft with my partner Pedro and our team since 2001 when we both finished University. No relation to NL nor to any other company.

I really hope that this remains clarified from this moment on.

---

We're transparent about this subject: we DO NOT have anything to do with any other company. We run our business on our own and have been in 3D since many years ago. Why don't you ask this same question in THEIR forum? We've been answering this same Q since April, and, as a matter of coincidence, they haven't said anything publicly yet. Why not? Hmm...

===============================================

Only one thing is sure: they do not have fantasy

ouch, do they mean that's the other way round? that maxwell is a fryrender clone which just happened to be released before the real thing?

haha, that last sentence is rather ironical, i agree completely - if you read their manual (but of course, also if you look at the details of their web site) you will see that they copied nearly everything from maxwell. so, for the moment, at least it is sure who has more fantasy...

most of the links on the website in fact leed to empty or unexistant sites. not really a good reference for someone ho 'is in business since 2001'.

the 'coincidence' to live in the same city is maybe the same mere 'coincidence' as all their other appearances on their website - at least that's what i can see. if i would be a developer of another unbiased renderer based on a similiar technology like maxwell i certainly wouldn't do such a banal copy of most of my direct concurrent's concepts and words.

Im preorder of fryrender too ,
and i must say that beta of fry on some things went steps forward
of Maxwell ( the coop render works simply perfection ). Then who goes first and who goes copying is a good
question but is not a fact .
perhaps nobody is copying to another , or perhaps many things is
coincidence on what a unbiased renderer must have .
Or all copy to all ( this is the usual thing on all companys of all
works , trying at same time creating something new )
There is another unbiased renderers , and posible have a lot of
coincidences like biased renderers have between them .

All this is good for us , customers , ... , competence , and a bit
nightmare on decision of what renderer to use .
Fryrender is a beta , and they claimed to be what it is , a beta .
And this is good . Wait and we will see .
I think Maxwell is good , and fry too .

And the real time thing , is probably , if they finally make it , the
"full" tool for arch . visualization by example , with the lightning quality
or nearest posible quality of a unbiased renderer ilumination .

And real time RC4 output , is the scene you have modeled on max and
textured , iluminated and rendered with fryrender , complete on a
videogame archive .You can think on a quest 3d executable or
similar .
