Does anybody knows why sometimes the normal blue color of the layers turnes into grey and the drawings get locked and it is impossible to modify any layer?

check the colour mode you are working with i.e. b/w, greyscale, indizierte farben (I don´t know how it is called in english), RGB; CMYK

some tools are not allowed in certain modes!

i,ve changed the colour mode but the problem persists.
for example, when i try to 'move' it appears that message...................................what is the target channel?

i'm afraid i've push some buttom accidentally that made some change and i can´t manage to solve.

Click channels in the above palette and activate all channels.
