Macromedia decided to stop Linux releases after Player version 7. While Adobe announced they would bring back a Linux version once 8.5 is out, this could be a matter of months. What bugs me most is that most sites don't even make use of the changes to the swf format from 7 to 8 and yet lock out users with their detection.What's the problem with flash?

I second that. The side doesn't work for me too. totally agree... need linux support even if i dont like flash a lot
